... a winner of the Imag eof the Month for April has been calculated!

In customary fashion, in a manic fit of dithering and suspense building (and no it's not going to be the last line the winner will be announced in the middle so no skipping to the last page to found out 'whodunnit' .. ) we distract and, hopefully amuse.  But first we thank - we say it every month and it is no less meant for repetition: thank you to all those of you who have amused, scared, delighted and variously entertained us with your submissions over the past month.  Without you this would be less a group and more an echoing cavern, with the sock-eating vampire having to cast his net further afield for sustenance.  Thank you also to all those of you who voted and commented, it means a great deal, I think, to know that people (fellow artists, naytheless!) have looked your work over and appreciate it enough to cast a vote.

Thus far we have had two suggestions for a new themed contest - both good 'uns so if you have any ideas get them in to me or soon as I'd like to make the pre-announcement announcement by the end of next month.  So, consider this the pre-announcement pre-announcement to that fact that a new themed contest will be announced.

But, back to our monthly contest, especially and specifically the one for last month, April ... the votes have been tallied (or should that be toellied?) and I can tell you that the winner of items to the value of $15 from the store run by those awfully nice people at RuntimeDNA is *cue drum roll ...* (and yes, I lied about it not being last ..! )
